Jackson Health System Selects Local Interpretation Company For State Contract
SAN DIEGO, CALIF., — Accessible Communication for the Deaf (ACD), an IU Group company in Florida was awarded with a contract from the Jackson Health System for on-site sign language interpreter services. The contract requires the provider to service JHS with qualified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters for spoken English to ASL and ASL to spoken English interpretation appointments for: emergency, trauma and other medical appointments.
“We’re thrilled to expand our services to healthcare organizations in our home state,” says, Lisa Campbell, senior director, ACD. For more than 30 years, IUACD has provided healthcare networks like JHS with on-site and video ASL interpretation services.
Accessible Communication for the Deaf was acquired by Interpreters Unlimited in 2014 and continues to operate under the IU Group of companies: Interpreters Unlimited, Albors & Alnet and Arkansas Spanish Interpreters and Translators.
